Natural Mouthwash Recipe By Medicine woman in the woods


Ingredients:

Chamomile (Soothing properties, helps with inflammation and oral health)

Star anise (Antibacterial properties, freshens breath)

Bunch of rosemary (Antimicrobial properties, fights bacteria in the mouth)

Cloves (Antibacterial and antifungal properties, aids in oral hygiene)

Plantain leaves (Antioxidant properties, promotes gum health)

Aspen bark (Natural preservative, extends shelf life)

Optional: Honey or lemon (Natural preservatives, add flavor)


Instructions:

1. Begin by bringing water to a boil in a pot or kettle. Once the water reaches a gentle simmer, reduce the heat to prevent it from boiling vigorously. This ensures that the delicate properties of the ingredients are preserved without being destroyed by excessive heat. or better still remove from the fire.


2. Add chamomile to the pot of hot water. Chamomile is renowned for its soothing properties and ability to promote oral health. It will infuse the water with its beneficial compounds, providing a calming and refreshing effect for your mouth.


3. Incorporate star anise into the mixture. This aromatic spice not only freshens breath but also possesses antibacterial properties, helping to combat oral bacteria and maintain oral hygiene.


4. Add a bunch of rosemary to the pot. Rosemary is known for its antimicrobial effects, which work to fight bacteria in the mouth. By including it in the mouthwash, you'll benefit from its natural cleansing properties.
